FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Our main homeports are Gibson Island and Ferry Point Marina in Arnold, MD. However, we are totally flexible in pickup and drop off locations.

Our Ferry Point Marina location for our private and public cruises has ample free public parking.

Always! You never know what kind of marine life you will see.

Safety is always our highest concern on the water. The crew and captain are responsible for everyone’s safety and therefore in charge. Smoking and illegal drug use is prohibited aboard the Samantha Belle.

All alcohol consumption is BYOB and all local laws apply. The captain and crew reserve the right to discontinue a group or individual’s consumption for any reason.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

– Private cruises must be cancelled at least two weeks in advance to receive a refund.

– If cancelled within two weeks, payments can be applied to another available date, with no restrictions on rescheduling to a different calendar year, and the rate will remain unchanged.

– In case of rain, events can be rescheduled following the same policy.

– For safety concerns due to weather conditions like high winds or lightning, payments will be refunded. The captain will make all decisions regarding the safety of scheduled cruises.

– If the captain cancels due to mechanical or safety issues, payments will be refunded, or applied to another future cruise according to your preference.

– If a cruise is prematurely cancelled due to weather after departure from the dock, full payment for the day is still required.

The boat has some dry storage in the cockpit and down below. If you want to bring coolers, there’s plenty of room for those. They make great dry storage and seats too!

All cruises can be booked online. We are also happy to take reservations over the phone, and through email and text.

Food and drink will be solely the responsibility of the customers to provide. We are happy to work with any catering company and could even help with pick up if coordinated with enough notice.

Swimsuits are not required unless your private cruise wishes to go for a swim. There is a private bathroom aboard where one can change in or out of a swimsuit. Swimming is at your own risk we do not provide a lifeguard.

There are no showers aboard but there is a bathroom.

We have plenty of room aboard. Anything you would like to bring is fine. Some important things to consider to bring are…

-protective clothing for the sun
-up to 1/2 gallon of water per person
-cellphones and backup chargers
-Bluetooth speakers
-food and snacks
-hats
-anti-seasick preventatives
