The Chesapeake Bay is home to many unique careers and among the most interesting are the crabbers. The blue crab is a hometown staple in cuisine/culture here and so are Maryland Watermen. On this cruise we will be chasing down some crabbers as they go about their workday. Some of the local crabber we could encounter are Capt. CJ Canby of the FV Miss Paula and Capt. Luke McFadden of the FV Southern Girl. If we are lucky, we will get a chance to pull alongside and get to meet them for a quick minute.
Sunsets on the water are truly magical. Set sail an hour before sunset and marvel in the golden hour. Snap some pictures, relax, and enjoy the gorgeous views on your memorable evening on the water.
This cruise we bet you will love, but we also think your best friend will too! It’s a shorter trip, because we want your dog to be safe in the sun. We will depart from Ferry Point Marina and will head up the Magothy River and over to Gibson Island Harbor. Hang with your dog with plenty of great scenery for amazing pictures including the Gibson Island Lighthouse and all the amazing boats docked there!
Single and looking to mingle. This cruise is geared toward meeting new people from the area. Book it solo or book with a group of friends. Before getting underway we will do quick introductions and have some fun ice breaker questions along the way. We will cruise out of the Magothy River into the Chesapeake Bay, around the Baltimore Lighthouse and sail back to the Ferry Point Marina. This is a 21+ event.
This cruise is a great opportunity to go fishing with your friends or family. Bring your own fishing gear and head on over to Ferry Point Marina and jump onto the Samantha Belle. The boat will have the provided Maryland Fishing Licenses to cover all aboard. Individual anglers will be legally responsible for adhering to all fishing rules and regulations. We will try our luck all over the Magothy River and the channel leading into the Bay. This trip is perfect for anyone who loves fishing, wants to introduce someone to fishing, or just to get out with some buddies.
Magothy River Cruise 3hrs
The Magothy River is the home of the Samantha Belle. Capt. TJ Sanner grew up on the river and knows all her best spots. It is a beautiful natural resource and has some great landmarks you may or may not have seen yet.
Your cruise includes Dobbins Island, Little Dutchship Island, and Gibson Island. The Magothy River has two lighthouses, several private boat anchorages, a sprawling waterfront horse farm, and other breathtaking landscapes. We can’t wait to share it with you!
Lighthouse Cruise 3hrs
The Chesapeake Bay is a beauty, and rich with tradition and maritime history. Along with that comes some cool sights. Some of Capt. TJ’s favorites are lighthouses. Just above the Bridge and in the Magothy River there are four, two of which are still active today. We’ll visit all four, and come alongside to snap some pictures. Whether you live nearby, or you’re here for a visit, you’re not going to want to miss this special trip.
Slow down, capture the moment, and take it all in.
Your journey begins at the Ferry Point Marina. From there you will cruise to your first destination to ‘oh, ah’ and take some photos of the Baltimore Lighthouse. After you take it all in, we’ll cruise on to the next landmark, the Sandy Point Lighthouse. Then, it’s the moment you’ve been waiting for… the Bay Bridge! See the bridge like you’ve never seen it before, looking up from the water. After snapping your incredible pictures, you’ll head straight back to the Marina with the wind in your hair after a memorable day on the Bay.
